What is the perfect reason to move to another country to live? To pursuit your own career? To experience a new life chapter? To do it for better opportunity? Or simply want to run away from what you have got now.

Take my friend K for an example, she is my college classmate and with no doubt, she is the smart one in the class. Whenever we were troubled with French or long tedious thesis preparation, she always gave it nothing but a sneer and said, ‘only if you guys have paid more attention in the classes and just reviewed a little bit afterwards.’

After she graduated from university, there’s something got into her head and made her drizzled and felt that it was not enough. So she left for another city to continue her study and we only got to see her every other month when she could get this half price train ticket or when we were after waking up in another city after drinking till late late the night before.

And then after her second serious graduation, she finally moved onto working in an agency downtown Beijing. Unfortunately, it only took her a couple of years before she made up her mind and decided to take some initial fund from her parents and some French lessons and the next news we got from her was she had got the visa to France.

Don’t get me wrong; she is not weird in any way. Then, what is the reason? Just because she is not content with what she’s got already so decided to hit the jackpot somewhere and see if she’s lucky enough that way? Does it mean you can turn your luck up another scale once you have more stamps on your passport? And does it mean the further you go the better it turns out to be?

After all, who am I here to judge? I am just sitting on the fancy rug typing, or you’d prefer to say I am talking to myself through a laptop, and wandering this the meantime I can look outside the window and see nothing but beautiful mountains and a breathtaking lake.
